SIC is the first private channel in Portugal launched on 6 october 1992. SIC is owned by Impresa, a Portuguese media conglomerate.
Back in 2005, SIC was looking for a solution to integrate different vendor’s systems into its workflow using provisional software components.
Tecom Group was responsible for integration of playout automation with MAM and Newsroom systems. The company designed and developed software solution that enabled integration of SONY NewsBase system and ARKEMEDIA Digital Asset Management.
The solution enabled smart and seamless integration of different subsystems into one system that drastically simplified the whole workflow and automated different processes.
